LOVED this article Caitlyn! I've always agreed that travelling doesn't have to be $$ and been so shocked when friends have told me how much they spend for just a few weeks! But really loved the transparency and seeing it being reiterated with real world stories....you've made me set myself the next goal of getting my head around credit card points!
Hahah I def think a large perk is that I always book things on behalf of a group when I host group trips - and then I get paid back for the portions owed via Venmo, so I get 4-8 or even 10 people’s worth of spending/points but actually only pay 1 portion of that for my own share after getting paid back!
Would love to know who you used for the safari trip! I tried to do Uganda on a budget (gorilla treking specifically) & spent about that much for just a few days. There were some specifics I needed to work with that gave me less flexibility but still…
I went with Achieve Global Safaris! We got a group discount since we had 7 people and that made a huge difference in the price compared to solo or as a couple or smaller group. They had a private driver, local guides, basic but nice hotel accommodations, and meals included! I highly recommend
Amazing! 🤩
Love that you share your passion for travel with others!

Thanks so much!! So glad you enjoyed the read, and I agree that is a great goal — clearly pays off!
Am I doing this wrong?? I also have a Capital one card and I never get that many points! You’ve gotten so many free flights! Get it!
